Lockdown Restrictions Easing Postponed

With Boris’ latest announcement, of the postponement of the restrictions easing, we wanted to update you all of the methods we have adopted from the guidelines to ensure your visit is Covid_19 compliant.

We ask that upon your arrival, all of the group wear face masks (unless medically exempt). As of April 12th, all guests to the pub over the age of 16 years are required to give details for the track & trace system. The easiest method is via the app available for both Apple & Android phones. This way helps our team to seat you promptly so that you can get down to the serious business of enjoying a great pint of Palmers Brewery real ale, maybe even with a bite to eat as well!

The app is easily downloadable via this website https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/online-services/nhs-app/

During your stay, we do ask you to follow the government guidelines of not coming to the bar to be served. Our team will happily serve you at your table. We do also ask that children remain seated as much as possible during your visit & to always be accompanied by an adult when moving around our wonderful pub.

We do understand that these rules have completely changed the ‘pub’ experience and that many of you are eager for ‘normal’ life to begin again. We ask you to respect our team, as they have the difficult task of implementing these rules as well as working in a busy environment. Hopefully, if we all carry on sticking to these guidelines, there will be no further extension to these guidelines and they should be easing on the 19th of July.

Until then we hope you enjoy your visit to us and that the restrictions are not extended further!
